The next hunter recruit...

What does being a class leader entail, exactly? This is probably the easiest class to pve with in the game.

If a hunter sucks, and they come to a raid, guess whose job it is to fix the problem yesterday? The class leader.

Oh hey I just saw this. Do we really need a class leader for hunters (or any other class)?

I haven't seen any guilded hunters doing non-satisfactory damage (well maybe Mandango when he didn't get the memo to respec to SV) and anyone is free to comment on applications (I would assume that if there are no comments there are no issues in general).

I was the 'class leader' in my previous guild and I didn't do anything (wasn't really asked to).

Edit: It would just be easier if Zavius came back. Come back dude!

Well, it's hard for me to tell what "satisfactory" damage is since I don't play a hunter. Lately I've been scratching my head and wondering why hunters aren't anywhere near the top of the meters. Is that class design, how we're using them, spec, talents, or ?

Aren't anywhere near the top of the meters? Eh? I haven't seen this and I'm running recount all the time as well. Can you be specific on the exact player/fight? No hunter has been AT the top of the damage meter - but nowhere near the bottom either. I would place general performance as 'competitive.' The reason why we're not at the top would probably be a combination of gear level (the best geared dps is not a hunter), class design (I don't know which class is top dps atm but I'm pretty sure it's not hunter) and fight design (pet unfriendly fights etc). As to 'how we're using them' I would say that it may be that certain raid make-ups would buff other classes at the expense of hunters, but I don't think that should be a real concern. Has hunter dps been that serious of an issue? I have to say from my recount's perspective that is not the case.

I was particularly thinking about De-Constructor and Razorscale. I particularly noticed that mages/rogues and hunters weren't even in the same league. I wonder if anyone had WWS running last night...would be handy.

OK. Well since I can't speak for yesterday I can't provide as much insight. However, since this is the first raiding done post patch there *could* be some lag in some people's understanding of what the proper specs/glyphs/petspecs are. There is also the potential for bugs. I guess I can keep an eye out for next time and remember to run a WWS. I *have* heard however that the Ulduar bosses might be pet unfriendly - we'll see.

Aye, it's hard for me to tell. Warriors have it easy - we can just spec/gem/glyph for max mitigation and whatever mistakes we make in min/maxing won't be readily apparent since when we die the healers will think it's their fault, the dps will think it's the RNG's fault, and the tanks will go drink more rum and try to look innocent.
